RECYCLING IN VERONA

During the week a group of students from IES Canido spent in Verona, we shared our time and our experiences with our mates from the other schools taking part in this visit. We were schools from Estonia, Poland, Italy and Spain. We communicated in English, learnt a lot about the Italian culture and also shared information about sustainability.

  


In my case, I investigated recycling and sustainable initiatives carried out in Verona as well as the pollution problems the city faces today. The visit to a place called Centro Riuso Creativo cauhgt my attention and I would love to have something similar in my city!

Zero Waste is a project that was started bearing in mind the need for a change in our lifestyles if we want to preserve planet Earth. Six schools from several European countries, namely: Poland, Estonia, Sweden, Romania, Italy and Spain are taking part in the project. In two previous Erasmus+ projects: Upcycling Lives, developed at IES Canido (2021-2023) and Up cycling: A Project from Bottom to Top, developed at  Szkola Podstawowa Nr w Bieruniu, some  initiatives which we are planning to develop in this new project were born. ZERO WASTE POSTER

Here are several posters that we have created to promote our project amongst our fellow citizens.  We aim at inspiring them and hope a few will make some changes in their lives adopting the ideas we are proposing, which are really easy to carry out.                                           We designed a few posters and voted for the one we liked the best.
