GARBAGE DISTINCTION AND PROCESSING IN ESTONIA

In this post, you will learn about how the collection of trash is encouraged in Estonia by getting the user a small refund when he/she returns an empty packaging. It works. It has been noticed in other countries like Sweden, for example.



The visit to this transformation factory brought a deeper understanding of what you can get from waste when it is segregated and processed adequately. We found out as well that the south of Europe is a bit behind the north in terms of collecting and processing waste. We are improving but we must speed up.

Zero Waste is a project that was started bearing in mind the need for a change in our lifestyles if we want to preserve planet Earth. Six schools from several European countries, namely: Poland, Estonia, Sweden, Romania, Italy and Spain are taking part in the project. ZERO WASTE POSTER

Here are several posters that we have created to promote our project amongst our fellow citizens.  We aim at inspiring them and hope a few will make some changes in their lives adopting the ideas we are proposing, which are really easy to carry out.                                           We designed a few posters and voted for the one we liked the best.
