Here is a set of contents related to sustainability dealt with during the course: "Greener School for a Sustainable Future". 


This slide presentation (converted to a PDF), which is really clear, well-organised and useful, contains lots of pictures which help understand the content even though the explanations are made in English.

The material belongs to PMS, the Spanish company which organised the course and which has granted us permission to post their work here. We are very grateful for that and wish to express our gratitude.

Zero Waste is a project that was started bearing in mind the need for a change in our lifestyles if we want to preserve planet Earth. Six schools from several European countries, namely: Poland, Estonia, Sweden, Romania, Italy and Spain are taking part in the project. In two previous Erasmus+ projects: Upcycling Lives, developed at IES Canido (2021-2023) and Up cycling: A Project from Bottom to Top, developed at  Szkola Podstawowa Nr w Bieruniu, some  initiatives which we are planning to develop in this new project were born. Some of them, to name but a few, are the planting, harvesting and use of loofah, the production of soap at school, continuing with upcycling workshops, writing emails to different firms to suggest changes in the management of their containers and investigating which initiatives are developed in each participating country in terms of environmental care. Here are several posters that we have created to promote our project amongst our fellow citizens.  We aim at inspiring them and hope a few will make some changes in their lives adopting the ideas we are proposing, which are really easy to carry out.                                           We designed a few posters and voted for the one we liked the best.
