Zero Waste is a project that was started bearing in mind the need for a change in our lifestyles if we want to preserve planet Earth. Six schools from several European countries, namely: Poland, Estonia, Sweden, Romania, Italy and Spain are taking part in the project. In two previous Erasmus+ projects: Upcycling Lives, developed at IES Canido (2021-2023) and Up cycling: A Project from Bottom to Top, developed at  Szkola Podstawowa Nr w Bieruniu, some  initiatives which we are planning to develop in this new project were born. Some of them, to name but a few, are the planting, harvesting and use of loofah, the production of soap at school, continuing with upcycling workshops, writing emails to different firms to suggest changes in the management of their containers and investigating which initiatives are developed in each participating country in terms of environmental care. ZERO WASTE POSTER

Here are several posters that we have created to promote our project amongst our fellow citizens.  We aim at inspiring them and hope a few will make some changes in their lives adopting the ideas we are proposing, which are really easy to carry out.                                           We designed a few posters and voted for the one we liked the best. CAMPAIGN FOR USING LOOFAH

During the recent mobility of schools from Estonia, Sweden, Poland and Italy to IES Canido (Ferrol, Spain), we made our best from our loofah production.     We organised several activities related to the use of loofah. Here are some of them. GOAL: The goal of the whole set of tasks is that, by using digital means, the students will create a poster or a small presentation for a startup they are going to invest on. They will sell loofah and have to promote it to get as many customers as possible.   Activity 1 STEPS: First, we divided the students in international small groups. They were 60 in total: 7 from Estonia, 12 from Sweden, 13 from Poland, 6 from Italy and 22 from Spain. We asked them to form groups of 5 students and, therefore, we got 12 groups.
