Zero Waste is a project that was started bearing in mind the need for a change in our lifestyles if we want to preserve planet Earth. Six schools from several European countries, namely: Poland, Estonia, Sweden, Romania, Italy and Spain are taking part in the project. In two previous Erasmus+ projects: Upcycling Lives, developed at IES Canido (2021-2023) and Up cycling: A Project from Bottom to Top, developed at Szkola Podstawowa Nr w Bieruniu, some initiatives which we are planning to develop in this new project were born. Some of them, to name but a few, are the planting, harvesting and use of loofah, the production of soap at school, continuing with upcycling workshops, writing emails to different firms to suggest changes in the management of their containers and investigating which initiatives are developed in each participating country in terms of environmental care.
