THREE COUNTRIES AT A TIME

Three countries at a time...? This was something we couldn't believe until we experienced it. 

This is a precise point in the Beskidy Mountains where three countries meet together. It was fun and interesting. Fun because we could say we had been to three different countries and, in fact, it was true and interesting because of the history behind the place.
                      

In terms of becoming aware of preserving natural spaces, these mountains are a good example of nature in good conditions as well as they are a model to copy due to the nice projects they are developing at the moment to care for the environment. They are commented on in another post.

Zero Waste is a project that was started bearing in mind the need for a change in our lifestyles if we want to preserve planet Earth. Six schools from several European countries, namely: Poland, Estonia, Sweden, Romania, Italy and Spain are taking part in the project. In two previous Erasmus+ projects: Upcycling Lives, developed at IES Canido (2021-2023) and Up cycling: A Project from Bottom to Top, developed at  Szkola Podstawowa Nr w Bieruniu, some  initiatives which we are planning to develop in this new project were born. Here are several posters that we have created to promote our project amongst our fellow citizens.  We aim at inspiring them and hope a few will make some changes in their lives adopting the ideas we are proposing, which are really easy to carry out.                                           We designed a few posters and voted for the one we liked the best. GARBAGE DISTINCTION AND PROCESSING IN ESTONIA In this post, you will learn about how the collection of trash is encouraged in Estonia by getting the user a small refund when he/she returns an empty packaging. It works. It has been noticed in other countries like Sweden, for example. The visit to this transformation factory brought a deeper understanding of what you can get from waste when it is segregated and processed adequately.
