ZERO WASTE

We live in Ferrol, in the Galician province of A Coruña. We have investigated a variety of initiatives which are being carried out in our area and have found there are more than we initially thought. Last October 2023, a group of ten students and two teachers from IES Canido, Ferrol, had the opportunity to travel to Uppsala to meet other participants in the Erasmus+ KA121 project called Zero Waste, which we are carrying out.             The experience was amazing as not only we made really good friends with the Swedish group but as well with the students from the other schools taking part in the mobility. They were schools from Romania, Poland, Estonia apart from Sweden and Spain.  The activities were very well organised and we investigated many different aspects of how you can contribute to the care for the environment. We came back home with lots of new ideas to put into practise. We would like to thank our hosts fro their great work to make our experience unforgettable!
